Injector Blasting Process

An injector blasting system works according to the venturi principle. For example, the jet head has two separate hoses for the blasting medium and the compressed air. By the transit of the compressed air the blasting medium is suct in.

An important advantage of an injector blasting system is the simple construction what’s making it easy to automize the process. Another advantage is that the blasting medium is directly available. Due to the fact that the blasting medium is sucked in, blasting medium with a higher specific weight is less suitable for this kind of process. Compared to pressure blasting the capacity for most applications is lower, but an injector blasting system is significantly cheaper and has a less air consumption.
